Jorge Ordonez is, basically, a badass. He makes more high-scoring, delicious, blockbuster wines at crazy-good prices than anyone we can think of. So when this 91-POINT, dry, and crazily aromatic white landed on our tasting bar, it only took seconds to get on the horn and buy as much as we could. We got a fantastic price on this gorgeous wine - let us tell you about it!! This is one of those wines that is so heady, fruity and complex, you might expect it to be sweet - so when the crispness and acidity and beautiful freshness hits, it's a surprise - a brilliant one. Think a super sexy Sauvignon Blanc, with huge aromas and flavors of citrus oils, perfumed flowers, lavender, marmalade...it's just wild. On the palate, it's dry but super complex and soft. Just fantastic! We bought all we could....but you know how that goes...!
