Champagne Paul Berthelot Cuvee Eminence Premier Cru NV

SHOWSTOPPER is the word of the moment --- wow! Premier Cru brilliance! The PRICE! More than 50% OFF!

* pours another glass despite the hour and concerned/slightly jealous/impressed co-workers' glances *

Don’t judge! Champagne -- it’s what’s for breakfast. First off, the price, of course! We are SO PROUD of our ability to snag amazing Champagne at incredible prices, but BERTHELOT?! C’mon!! You can not even FIND this wine in the U.S.A. unless you’re a Last Bottle customer, and if you did it would be at least $45-$60! The “Eminence” Premier Cru Cuvee is 70% Pinot, 30% Chardonnay and POPS in your mouth with cool stone fruits, crisp apples, Asian pears, and perfumey white flowers. A little honey  on the finish --- but RACY, fresh, brisk, just how we like it! Keeps your taste buds dancing!

We brought in as much of this cuvee as we could (did you get some last year? Then you KNOW how good it is…), but it will not last long. You’ll be one of the few people in the country to own any!

Crystal clear wine, yellow
subtle tint, attractive cordon of
fine bubbles. Powerful nose opens on
vegetable notes, ferns, herb tea, honey and mature fruits.
On the palette it is structured well and supple initially with notes of apples, pears and currants and a light menthol and anise seed. Lengthy finish.
