** Shoutout to Davide and his brother for hooking us up with super-fresh, just harvested white truffles on our visit last November -- one of our most memorable lunches EVER! **

Man -- Barbaresco at $22 is simply…dreamy. You can just inhale this perfumey aroma and let it percolate around in your brain. In the mouth it is so…HARMONIOUS, so balanced and fine. (inhales perfume again) --- ahhh, so where were we…amazing price, yes, but this mouthfeel and length...dried cherries, tart berries, rose water, Asian spices and flowers...oh baby! Delightful, enchanting, intellectual, charming and delicious…well, what else can we say except you NEED this brilliant stuff in your cellar and in your mouth ASAP! This will hold for a decade or more, too, if you can keep your hands off...we doubt it though…while it lasts!

About The Producer

Located in the municipality of Neive, is the center of the winery, owned by Rivetti family since 1947. It has always devoted to wine production. The wine cellar is in the center with twelve hectares of vineyards around, it’s one of the oldest structures in the area (already mentioned in the military maps at the end of 1800). The vineyards are merged and favorably exposed to South, South-West and are located into two subzones of special election for the production of Nebbiolo, called RIVETTI and SERRABOELLA; here Nebbiolo, Barbera and Moscato vineyards with age between forty and seventy-five are mainly cultivated.
