1849 Wine Co. Pinot Noir Iris Sonoma County 2018 - Last Bottle

1849 Wine Co. Pinot Noir Iris Sonoma County 2018

Sonoma PINOT NOIR! Only $15?! BOOM! How’s that for a nice golden nugget of awesomeness on this brisk Tuesday morn?! This slam-dunk delicious Sonoma pinot was one of those rocking standouts in our daily tasting (20-30 wines a day, by the way) – the kind of wine where everyone who drifts by the tasting bar says, "Ooooh, that's good, where is it from? Who made it? Can I buy a case?" We always take that as an affirmation of the fact that it's a damn fine bottle. THEN we go to work on the price. OVER 60% OFF retail is a great place to start!!

Mostly Russian River fruit, from a BEYOND FAMOUS long-standing, family-run winery that we can’t possibly mention under pain of death. (We may have said too much already!) Blacker than black cherries, kirsch, raspberries, cherry cola, chocolate, tobacco, toasty oak, saddle leather, and baking spices…maybe a kiss of gingerbread, too, and it all just comes together in a downright lovely little pinot, which, at our electrifyingly ridiculous price, is a HUGE no-brainer. Label art is done by the famous SABER too, giving it a little extra street cred!

At FIFTEEN AMERICAN DOLLARS – it doesn’t need street cred but what can we say… if you’re looking for THE pinot to drink all the time this season, with friends, at parties, and by yourself at the end of the night when your wife wants to open one more bottle (and then immediately falls asleep on this couch…), welp, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Stock up on this beauty! We said over 60% OFF, right? And $15? Well, if that doesn't get you fired up… I’m clear out of ideas! While it lasts...!

In the year 1849, troves of hopeful people rushed to Northern California in search of gold. Some of them found golden nuggets, and others found liquid gold in the form of California wine. 1849 Wine Company pays homage to the Golden State’s second strike-it-rich frenzy, vine fever.
