WOW! This price is simply breathtaking, seemingly defying general market logic. Beau Vigne (yup, we know you’ve heard the story, but c’mon, it’s winemaker Julien Fayard!!) continues its crazy roll of cabernet goodness with this hot-off-the-press ‘19 (most winemakers here in our Valley will tell you both ‘18 and ‘19 are excellent but ‘19 kicks a little more booty, and is in for the longer haul, with more balance to boot). Beau Vigne has a 100-pointer under its belt and nineteen/twenty wines rated 95-100 points. We are just wicked-lucky to have some. For YOU. Because we love you and this totally, literally is ALL we do.
Dang G! Big guns cab anyway you slice it, with dark, brooding intensity (sorry to use these words like “brooding”, but it evokes a certain personality, right?), deep and complex, festooned (sorry, there we go again) with rich, plush, generous black and blue fruit, a bit of grippy grab-your-tongue Rutherford POWER, sweet, oh-so luscious French oak, cedar, black currants and toasted licorice (is that a thing? That’s what it tastes like) and a bit ‘o’ dark cocoa….MMMM. SEXY! THE PRICE! The heart flutters….
