Are you living your BEST life? Yes, because you are in our warm, caring arms and we have a drop-dead spectacular, 93+ POINT (from VINOUS, no less) Bordeaux wine today from the rip-roaringly awesome 2015 vintage that will certainly make your life the BEST it can be. Let’s start with a little name-dropping, shall we?
Chateau Lafite, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, Chateau Lynch Bages and Chateau Pichon Baron. Fonbadet’s vineyards are a miracle of geolocation in being more or less bumped up against all of these Chateau’s vineyards in among the BEST plots in Pauillac. And we probably don’t need to tell you that those go for 3-4-5-10X the price!! It is a super-savvy “insider” Bordeaux that is starting to get the attention it has richly deserved for the last decade and today, yes TODAY we actually have enough to unleash it upon you, you beautiful person, at the best price in the world. INCREDIBLE Bordeaux steal!! A massive no-brainer if you love top-notch Bordeaux!
You know by now how much we love the 2015 vintage in most of Europe. MAN, can you taste it here!! Wow! This does NOT taste like a $50 wine, and certainly not a $35 one. PACKED with ripe jammy boysenberry fruit, this is just SINGING right out of the gate, almost like a pricey Napa Cab. Tons of spiciness, mocha, deep, deep richness and mouthcoating goodness, with a finish that goes on crazy-long. Truly special wine, and an absolute JOY to drink, much less have some to offer you. As you might imagine, it’s pretty limited...rock on while we have it!
From three parcels surrounding some of the best known Chateau in the in all of Pauillac, this under-the-radar hero knocks it out of the park in the rocking 2015 vintage. This wine is where freshness and ripeness intersect, don't miss it!

About The Producer
It’s at the end of the Ancien Regime, in 1789, that we can find in the public records the report of a vineyard in Fondabet.
The Peyronie family, the current owner, can put forward really ancient wine-growing roots since their ancestors were already present on the Pauillacais terroir in 1700.
Today, and after twenty years spent working with her father Pierre Peyronie, Pascale is taking over for him, combining the respect of the traditions and the use of modern techniques.
The permanence on three centuries of the presence of vines on its soils, the nobility origins of the constitution of the Cru and its brand, the fact that the prices reached by its wines before the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855 ranks it among the future fifths Crus Classés of Pauillac, the vigor of its rebirth after the Second World War, place the Château Fondabet at the top of its category.
