Domaine Jean-Marc Bernhard Riesling Alsace 2016 - Last Bottle

Domaine Jean-Marc Bernhard Riesling Alsace 2016

BOOM! Hey, whoa, this juice is LIT! Your palate is about to get CHARGED with pure, icy, bone-dry, skin-tinglingly bracing Alsatian brilliance! For an absolutely, utterly astounding price -- hard to believe, really...

Dry Riesling (organic to boot!) is always a joy to find -- and it is a rarity, since it is usually made in tiny amounts. The Estate dates back to the 16th century (!!) and the Bernhard family has owned it since 1802 (for context, the first incandescent light bulb was invented then) and is a super-savvy insider wine that we were supremely lucky to discover two years ago. Good thing we go to France every year to make these deals! Wow! UNHEARD-OF price today...and only a little to go around...

And...crank up the generator!! Arcs of minerally, lemon-tinged Riesling will cascade around your mouth! This is a blend from several of the Bernhard vineyards and simply an exhilarating wine in 2016, very dry (this is not a sweet Riesling) with complex layers of yellow fruits, white rose, grapefruit, crushed rocks, lemon zest and tart, and crisp apple. Terrific balance and length, too, just keeps cranking it out!!  For this price??! This just begs for cheeses and creamy, luscious things like white pizzas!! MMM! We bought all we could...but it will go fast, fast fast…!

**Due to the recent Supreme Court ruling (Wayfair) on sales tax, Last Bottle will now collect appropriate sales tax on all orders, regardless of where customers are shipping their purchases. Please see our website for our full terms and conditions.**

Riesling is the “ king” of the Alsacian wines. Delicate
nose, fresh, citrus and floral aromas. In the mouth nice freshness and
liveliness. Bottle age for 2 to 8 years.

Since more than 200 years …

Domaine Jean-Marc Bernhard is situated in Katzenthal, in the west side from Colmar, in the heart of the Alsacian wine country, our village is laying in a valley surrounded by vineyards  along the Alsacian Wine Route.

The family estate is situated in the middle of the village, the buildings, dated from the 16th century, have been bought by the family Bernhard in 1802.

The cellars have always exclusively served to the winemaking.

The dynamism and experience brought successively by the 9 generations are the elements which procure a high level of quality.

Since 2012, we produce organic wines.

The attachment to our roots remains intact, everybody has got his own role and has got the taste for good work.
