You’ve probably had some of the Hiller wines by now from us over the years, and if not, well, we don’t even know what you’re doing. Located in the Pulkau region, Hiller makes kickass Gruner that racy, clean, pure white wine lovers should be falling over themselves to get at this no-brainer price. We do, year after year, and believe us, we’ve heard your raves! We buy as much as we can, but they don’t make much!
AHHHH. Release yourself into the zippy tart green apple fruit, crisp Asian pear, roasted nuts and gingerbread spices...dry with the lightest touch of tropicality, it is terrifyingly easy to drink (we know because it is pretty early Sunday morning writing this and a glass is half-empty…) and should be consumed at all times. BRAVO Hiller! We love you!

Simone I Wine & Queen is named in memory of the reign of Simon Hiller-Jordan as Wine Queen of Austria. Lively primary aromas of rennet "little queen" apple and nuts, followed by hearty spice, smooth and inticing with freshness and a creamy texture. Soft on the palate with supportive acidity, very well balanced.

About The Producer
Since 1858, there has been a noteworthy tradition of winemaking in Groß-Reipersdorf near Pulkau. Nowadays, there are two generations at work. Simone Jordan is responsible for winemaking, along with her parents Karl and Anni Jordan, and a passion, love and avid fascination are top priority. It is no longer uncommon for a woman to run her own wine estate in what is regarded as a male dominated branch. From 2010, Simone Jordan led her family wine estate into the next generation, taking over from her parents. You can feel that there is a well attuned team behind the wines.
