If you love the lavishly, lustily oaked Cab style, baby, we have you wrapped up in our warm blanket of vinous love. Our South American connection HOOKED us UP recently with a wine you barely even FIND in the USA, and as we noted, one of the best we have tried in this price range (we are REALLY picky, too, pinky swear) and style. Boysenberry jam, plums, blueberry, ripe and juicy, with spicy vanilla, clove, sweet licorice and even a nice juniper-ish note. Jeez!! $12! If you like ‘em rich and toasty, THIS is your go-to hyper-bargain. PERIOD!

About The Producer

The Perbal label is made by the Alyan family winery, which is a family owned winery with the experience and tradition of more than 5 generations fully dedicated to the production of premium wines in Chile. Andrés Pérez and Alicia Balmaceda founded A&A Vineyards & Winery, home of the ALYAN wines, in 2001. They have spent over thirty years of marriage working together in the wine business. 

Andrés is the grandson of Francisco Pérez, an important grape grower in the Maule Valley. Alicia is the granddaughter of Pedro Undurraga, owner and developer of the one of the oldest and largest Chilean wineries, The Undurraga Wine Company.

Family members together with a very selected group of employees, work together all year round in order to obtain the supreme quality, Wine is in our blood.
