Chateau dYquem Sauternes 2009 (375mL) - Last Bottle

Chateau dYquem Sauternes 2009 (375mL)

off-the-chain. Adjective. (idiomatic)

Free from work or direct supervision; crazy and exciting; delirious and wild. Example: “Hey man, those Last Bottle dudes just offered a 100-point 2009 CHATEAU D'YQUEM for over 50% OFF retail. That is a whack price for a sick producer”. Reply: “Slammin’! Those dudes must be off the chain over there in Napa today”!

Indeed we are. Rare half bottles of 2009 CHATEAU D’YQUEM IS WINE #3. Wine Advocate 100 POINTS!

See? It’s madness here. TRUE rapturous, climactic derangement. Best price in the world, by $50, DIRECT from the Chateau (they do seem to like us there, oddly), and of course one of the most legendary wines on this planet and possibly other planets, who knows? Seriously, just read this review…"You are immediately knocked sideways by the palpable weight and volume in the mouth, which is almost bulbous, with layer upon layer of heavily botrytized fruit. It builds to a spicy finish with hints of marzipan and pralines in the background that lend it an untrammeled sense of exoticism. The 2009 is utterly fabulous and decadent, a star that will blaze brightly and undimmed for many years. Drink now-2060+".

A MUST for serious collectors and enthusiasts...really this is the perfect opportunity for a perfect wine, just to have even a sip!!

The wine of kings, the king of wines!

About The Producer

The history of Chateau d’Yquem is like a novel, an epic saga full of events and colorful personalities spanning more than four centuries. Chateau d’Yquem is not only the most famous chateau in Sauternes today, the estate has possessed an exalted reputation dating back to the middle ages when d’Yquem was owned by the King of England. Today the estate is owned by the infamous luxury brand Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton who have made significant re-investment into the property. Yquem is in a class of their own, quite literally, in the classification of 1855, it was given a unique classification of "Premier Cru Superieur", meanin "Superior First Growth", because it so clearly stood above all other Chateau.
