SLEEPER RESERVE Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc has risen -- the 2017 is upon us (well, for 24 hours or we sell out anyway! And we WILL, we always do!)!

Bottled just a few months ago, after its 6 months in 2 year-old French oak, and a tender hand guiding it through 2018, to now --- best Sleeper Reserve SB ever? It’s a juicy, lip-smacking masterpiece!

Savvy Last Bottle clients who've been around the block with us a few times will know this brand (it's ours, since the debut in 2005), but if you are new to it --- give us 38 seconds to explain why you NEED and WANT this gorgeous bottle of wine in your cellar, ASAP! Insanely good considering the pedigree here! It's a bit long but worth it, trust us!

As you know by now, we are longtime Napa Valley locals. We grew up with, schooled with, delivered pizzas and newspapers and partied with winemakers, vineyard managers, winery GMs and hundreds of now wine-industry people. Now and then one of them will call and offer us a bit of "extra" wine - which we bottle under our exclusive label Sleeper (def: an unexpected success). Often, as is the case today, the source of these wines (which are protected like nuclear launch codes under reams of non-disclosure documents) are very high-end wineries who sell the same wines for MUCH MUCH more!! That's the quick skinny.

On to our proud new release today...2017 is another BANNER vintage for Napa whites in particular, and our source for this just killed it --- AGAIN (they always do, actually, man we wish we could tell ya...). Stylish, pure, refined, razor sharp and somehow feeling even a little creamy or lanolin-like in your mouth. No green notes, all fruity love. Just a whisper of new French oak, which rounds it a bit and adds a bit of sex appeal, but mostly this Sleeper is all about sweet citrus fruits, yuzu, a dash of kaffir lime and a hint of pineapple - just lovely, fresh and bright as a new vinyl pressing of Nirvana’s Bleach album. Drink it with everything and nothing. Last year the ‘16 sold out in 4 hours…! Don’t miss!
