SO. We LOVE this particular producer and to have priced like this is dancing-around-the-warehouse happy-making, oh yes!! From its gorgeous spot in the Grampian mountain range in Victoria, Mount Langhi was originally planted in 1870, and to this day makes a more classically Bordeaux-ish wine that still rocks the Aussie ripeness and spicy, smoky, compelling fruit we love. SHOCKINGLY AWESOME at this price...did we mention 96 points??
Black fruits, sweet smoky blackberry, violets, purple berries and savory allspice veritably ZING around your mouth like something 3 times the price. French oak, mocha, so balanced and fine.
