Gallica Red Wine Oakville Napa Valley 2015
We’re having a GALLICA frenzy today and this UBER-RARE, outrageously complex cabernet franc (and a skosh cabernet sauvignon) is something you NEED! We don’t have much, not even enough to put up as a back-up for the Last Bottle email offer today, so we opted to set this aside just. For. YOU!!! For all that is holy and good, grab some of these QUICK! Over $100 A BOTTLE savings, my friends! I tasted this a few weeks back, and I still taste it in my dreams…here’s what “The Hand” had to say: “This is pretty stunning right now, very deft balance, drinking really, really nice.”
That is high praise, friends! I’m adding the bursting and ripe red currant, crushed raspberry, and small red plum fruit flavors, plus a beguiling lavender and lilac floral note, with some cigar box spice accents, and this iron and terracotta clay vein on the long, velvety finish. Drinking like a champ, but with the structure and balance to age another handful of years, easy. Go get them while they last… this is just a stunning wine that won’t be around long!
Inspired by earlier work at prestigious properties in both Napa Valley and Bordeaux, wines were made and a brand grew. The philosophy is a simple one: to craft elegant single vineyard wines farmed organically which accurately depict the site and the story of each unique vintage. GALLICA makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Albariño, Syrah and limited bottlings of estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. The brand symbol is a tribute to the ancient rose, their aromatics, and enhancement to winemaking. We love what we do and are fortunate to call Napa Valley home.

About The Producer
Gallica is nestled in the heart of Napa Valley amongst historic vineyards, coastal oaks, our gardens and olives. Heritage Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon are rooted in gravelly Cortina soils ambling off nearby Sulphur Creek. Our home is a handsome barn, contemporary and fresh, standing side by side with weathered vines. We strive to practice lightly touching the land from the tending of our vines, thoughtful winemaking methods, to the simplicity of our packaging, Winemaker Rosemary Cakebread’s vision for a wine of her own, eventually called GALLICA, grew slowly
