Over $200 LESS than the winery…this is a can’t miss cabernet sauvignon vertical from one of Napa’s most legendary wines – 99, 98, 98 POINT Private Reserve in the house!!
Oh, yes…it’s BACK! Our man on the inside finally yielded – after months of prying and plying, wine-ing and dining – he caved. The following week, a truckload of Beringer’s Private Reserve backed up to our bay door, and…HUZZAH! Back in business!!! You called, you emailed, you showed up on our doorstep in a trench coat and raised a boombox over your head. And we HEARD ya! (Also, is there anything more adorable than a young John Cusack?) I digress. The Napa Valley ICON that is Beringer. Their best of the best PRIVATE RESERVE cabernet sauvignon. Three EPIC vintages that scored 99, 98, 98 POINTS respectively!!! For straight up TWO HUNDRED AND SIX DOLLARS less than the winery price!!! What bizarro world, multiversal madness is this? These are the sort of prices you would have backflipped for 15 YEARS AGO – let alone TODAY!?!? For the love of all that is good and wise and kind and tongue-wagging-ly delicious, people…PLEASE do NOT miss this one-of-a-kind, OMG, FOMO level offer of this all-time Napa Valley CLASSIC! Take us off the heat, folks, we’re DONE!!
OK...time in. Breathe. Inhale. Let’s do this. Obviously, this is a mind-bending VERTICAL of Beringer PR Cab, I mean, did you see those scores? Those alone make the normal retail price of $175 per bottle totally reasonable, but OUR PRICE? A paltry $106 and change per bottle for a wine of this incomparable history, pedigree, and sheer delectableness?! INCONCEIVABLE!
Private Reserve Cab is one of Napa Valley’s most consistently EPIC wines – and has been for, literally, DECADES. Hard to know where to start here, but let’s start with 2016… you know, the all-time great Napa cab vintage we refuse to shut up about (and buy almost any chance we get!). WOW! Along with the rich fruit, and succulent texture, the velvet mouthfeel….simply the Platonic ideal for a bold Napa cabernet. But the 2017! This is a sleeper, and don’t forget, the Private Reserve is virtually always mostly Howell Mountain fruit – which happened to thrive in 2017! Suckling’s #8 Wine of the Year in his 2020 TOP 100 list! Boo-YAH! This is layered, ELEGANT, and honestly, my favorite of the three for earlier drinking (like anytime in the next 10 years)! And then that 2018! What. A. BEAST! Another monumental vintage – oozing with concentration and knock-your-teeth-out intensity and power. No matter how you slice this up, it’s a staggeringly awesome deal. Just READ THE REVIEWS BELOW!! Don’t just take our word...but hey, don’t read/think/act for more than a few minutes...we’ve sold out of this twice before, and there’s no telling when our contact finally drops to his knees and wave us off with an exhausted “NO MAS!”
Did I properly convey how amazing this 3-pack is? And the OVER $200 OFF part?!?! Ok – so what the heck are y’all still doing here?!?! Drink anytime over the rest of your life!!! Killer, killer stuff. While it lasts!
** Just a heads up, East Coasters! All this fresh-from-the-source inventory is currently in our Napa warehouse, so give it a little extra time to arrive, or use our HOLD option to compile your summer orders for fall delivery! **

About The Producer
The Beringer story starts in 1875, when Jacob Beringer purchased a parcel of land in St. Helena right next door to Charles Krug, where Jacob had been working as cellar foreman. Since then, Beringer has been going strong– they’re the oldest continuously operating winery in Napa Valley, one of the only few that was able to continue production throughout the Prohibition. They have established themselves as a key player in the Napa Valley wine scene, carefully cultivating a diverse portfolio of prized vineyards across many Napa Valley appellations. These vineyards range from the peaks of Napa’s highest hills to the valley floor behind their historic estate.
