Meritage (say it like you would heritage) means Bordeaux red, Cali-style – so we’re talking cabernet sauvignon, malbec, and petit verdot here – a tried and true concoction that is just shreddingly good. POWERFUL and deeply rich, metric TONS going on here, like most of the Ragtag wines we have tried – heady, low-acid, opulent grandeur, percolating aromatics, and a ripe, lusciously smooth and concentrated finish.
