Floral notes of jasmine and honeysuckle, followed by the tropical allure of ripe lychees, then a Citrusian march of limes, pomelo, tangerines, and Eureka lemons. And don’t leave out the stone fruits! White peaches and yellow plums, then exotic flourishes of lemongrass, ginseng and ginger — all grounded with wet slate and white peppercorns. Sauvignon Blanc can be one of the more linear and focused white wines in the world, but this is as expansive and varied as they come!

This “Graves Sableuses” bottling speaks to the vineyard's sandy gravel soils, giving this an allure that is more similar to top-flight Bordeaux Blanc than limestone and quartz of Sancerre…while still maintaining the cool-climate brightness that is just classic Loire through and through.
