LAST BOTTLE

An organically farmed, foot-trodden 92 POINT NAPA VALLEY CABERNET for an utterly BEWILDERING seventeen bucks?! Time to LOAD UP, people!!!

Remember staying home sick from school in the 90s, eating sugary loops of neon-colored cereal while watching Lucille Ball go absolutely feral in a giant wooden vat of grapes?! Well, hold onto your labels, Last Bottlers, because we are throwing it all the way back to that old-school, pure, foot-treading madness...but with a serious, world-class, face-melting Napa twist!!!

SEVENTEEN DOLLARS! Let that ricochet around your brain for a second. A full bottle of NAPA VALLEY CABERNET for less than the price of a generic cocktail at a trendy downtown bar’s best Happy Hour price?! It’s not just a steal...it is a full-blown, sirens-wailing, smash-and-grab vinous MIRACLE!!! We are talking about a full 71% OFF the $60 retail price! I mean, finding ANY California Cabernet under twenty bucks that doesn't taste like oak-flavored maple syrup mixed with grape soda is hard enough...but an organically grown, painstakingly crafted Napa Valley stunner blended from three organically-focused Coombsville, Silverado Bench, and Oak Knoll District plots for JUST SEVENTEEN BUCKS?!?! Absolute madness! LUDICROUS!!! INCONCEIVABLE!

Winemaker Jay Nuñez is out here fighting the good fight. He’s on a mission to completely smash the stigma that natural wines have to be volatile, funky, or lazy. This is low-intervention winemaking at its absolute zenith — clean, precise, and completely dialed-in. Phenolic ripeness? Off the charts! Careless vinification? Not a chance! This juice is raw, expressive, and deeply soulful. They literally crush the fruit by foot-treading — Lucy-style — before letting indigenous yeasts work their magic in the barrel. It’s time-consuming, back-breaking, labor-intensive mastery that you simply NEVER see at this price tier.

And the critics are on board! James Suckling pinned a big ol' 92 POINTS on this beauty, calling it dark-fruited, aromatic, and beautifully constructed. Wine Enthusiast backed it up with 91 POINTS…which is flat out impressive for ANY $17 Cali-Cab…much less a Napa born and bred BEAUTY like this! Pop the cork and this baddie hits your palate with a pure raspberry coulis explosion, and brooding blackberries, with waves of cassis, all electrified with crushed mint, and fresh-poured asphalt, then this savory kick of charred rosemary, and cocoa, and this intensely gritty pulverized gravel and granite minerality that just grips your tongue and refuses to let go! It’s outright dangerous with a plate of loaded carne asada fries…trust me! For $17?! Word is already out, and the warehouse team is already sweating trying to pack these boxes fast enough.

92 POINTS
"Dark-fruited and aromatic, with aromas of blackberries, cassis, plums, cedar and spices. The palate is full-bodied with firm yet polished tannins and balanced acidity, giving flavors of dark cherries, cocoa and tobacco. Nicely constructed with plenty to like. Drink or hold." -James Suckling
91 POINTS
"Ripe aromas of raspberry coulis, crushed mint, black pepper, and violets drive the nose of this Cabernet, while the palate balances bright acid, nimble tannins, and flavors of cranberry chutney, black plum, cedar, and granite in a medium-bodied framework. " -Wine Enthusiast
