The Bessons have a minuscule 1.4 hectare plot to call their own of this iconic Grand Cru, divided up between two exposures – one to the southwest, and one to the southeast. Bushels of fresh-picked apples, with some crunchy pear, tangerine oil, pulled saltwater taffy, lemon blossoms and white flowers, and that crunchy, shockingly addictive benchmark of pulverized oyster shells.
