Harvest Marathon - Order Shipping Status
OK Last Bottlers - good news, we are closing in on the end of Harvest Marathon shipping. But we know some of you are waiting for your wines. Full details below but we expect to be finished with the initial state-by-state shipping of orders around Oct 23rd.
After that our Warehouse team will work with Customer Service to do a sweep of all remaining wines that need to be shipped. One BIG favor - if you are reaching out to enquire about Marathon shipping can you please include the address you want ALL of your Marathon wines sent to in your message (the biggest reason for delayed shipments is confusion around the delivery address you want to use - and we want to make sure you receive all your wines safely).

5 Things you need to know about Marathon Fulfilment:
Weather you are a seasoned Marathon veteran, or this was your first taste of a Last Bottle Marathon it's worth a quick read of these.
1. Marathon Shipping takes a little longer
Once the buying stops our Warehouse team set to work on a Marathon of their own. Over 120k orders, more than 20k customers and over 800 different wines. We aim to get all Marathon orders that requested Marathon Shipping dispatched within 6-7 weeks of the end of the sale, but we are running behind this schedule currently. This page has the best live view of expected shipment times by state.
2. We ship states coolest to warmest in the Harvest Marathon
In our Harvest Marathon we aim to ship cooler states first, with the warmest regions shipping towards the end of our shipping window to benefit from the cooler fall conditions that are ideal for wine shipping. You can see where your state is scheduled on our live table above.
3. Marathon orders come together
Wherever possible we will consolidate all your Marathon orders together and ship them at the same time in (one or more) packages. Due to the logistics of fulfilling Marathon we are not able to combine Marathon shipments with other orders placed outside of Marathon. Don’t be surprised or worried if an order you’ve placed recently from our daily offers arrives before your Marathon wines.
4. Marathon Orders ship from the West Coast (note on tracking and time)
Depending on your location this means shipments may take longer than usual to reach you. Getting you your wine in perfect condition is our #1 priority so rest assured that (1) for long distances we transport wine in our temp-controlled network to your local “regional hub” and (2) that cool-packs are inserted at your “regional hub” where ordered to protect the final mile delivery. Please note: we generate a tracking number for your final mile shipment when we pick your order - but for customers served by our “regional hub” network your tracking will not show movement until your wine has safely made it across the country to be handed to Fedex / UPS at your local “regional hub”.
5. Weather Holds releases come after Marathon
Our Fall Shipping Push for Weather Holds will start around mid-October. Again Weather Hold orders will be dispatched based by state, and exact dates will depend on weather conditions with shipments extending through October and November. Note – if you selected the “Weather Hold” option at checkout for your Marathon wines this is when you will be getting them! Not sure if you selected "Weather Hold" for your Marathon orders?
