And…POW! Coming at you like a BOMB CYCLONE from the Pacific…Patz & Hall! It’s pouring down sheets of rain, streets are flooded, my skylight sprung a leak, but DA HECK with all that! Nothing but sunshine and rainbows today, good people, ‘cause…we scored THIS! Russian River Pinot in da HOUSE! 93 POINTS! From the one and only Burnside vineyard, a gem in the iconic portfolio of one of Sonoma’s greatest growers – the Martinelli family! YES!!!

All for UNDER $30?! Man, we NEVER get enough Patz & Hall to do a full offer! And this 2018, single vineyard pinot noir – crafted from two blocks, and two clones, in the coolest corners of Russian River is a straight-up vibe for me on this rainy, dreary day. Wisps of smokey cedar, and cinnamon red hots, with this luscious strawberry jam, and heady camphor, finishing with this cooling mint element. And that’s just the aromas! One sip to seal the deal…and BOOM! Black cherries, rosemary, Assam tea, pomegranate molasses, even more strawberries, and exotic spices...HUZZAH! This is big, brawny, and beautiful stuff – a classic RRV pinot noir through and through.

The folks at Patz & Hall are legends in the Cali-pinot game – nearly 40 years of top-notch Sonoma pinot magic (and some chardonnay too…which you might see here on Last Bottle in the future...**wink, wink). We got every last bottle they’d sell us, and I’m here to say…you’ll be kicking yourself in the keister if you miss this EPIC deal! In their 93 POINT review, Wine Enthusiast has this release with a full $85 retail…so to nab some at a whopping 68+% OFF?! Just larceny!

While it lasts!

** Ok, dad joke time…if you’re Russian going into the bathroom, and Russian when you leave the bathroom…what are you while you’re IN the bathroom? EUROPEAN, of course! Here all week, folks, tip your server. **

"This is a full-bodied, concentrated and seductive red from the site, sultry and structured with enduring richness. Black and red cherry are seasoned and complemented by earthy compost, black-tea and forest undertones, with spicy toasted oak." ~Wine Enthusiast
