Walla Walla Bing BANG! OVER 60% OFF! 97 POINTS! The good people of Reynvaan have done it AGAIN! Cabernet sauvignon, and franc, and petit verdot and merlot…that Jeb Dunnuck called one “rock star of a wine” – at a price you can’t find ANYWHERE else!

Game on, broham! This is one epic Bordeaux blend, and as any of you that were fast enough to snag the syrah we featured a couple weeks back know – Reynvaan is one of Washington State’s tippy-top best producers! Matt Reynvaan took on the winemaker role in 2010, learning the craft and making wine hand in hand for YEARS with the one and only Christophe Baron, you know – the GODFATHER of Walla Walla and creator of the iconic CAYUSE (of the uncountable 100 pt. scores). Christophe last consulted in 2017 – after 12 years working alongside Matt – but as this vineyard called “In The Rocks" stands adjacent to Baron’s own “En Cerise Vineyard”...you can only imagine a little healthy competition among neighbors, that continues to this day!  And I’ll tell you what – pound for pound, dollar for dollar – these Reynvaan wines stand toe-to-toe with the best Cayuse wines I've ever had...and that's saying something!

I mean, C’MON! This price?! This will absolutely SMOKE a truckload of $100++ Cali-reds and Bordeauxs – and clocking in at just under 14% abv, this perfectly straddles the balance of ripe fruits, uplifting energy, and brightness, with that gorgeous kiss of toasty oak. Crème de cassis, and lilacs, with this inky, purple-y fruit character of plums, and boysenberries, some brandied cherries, with this exotic tropical flourish of passionfruit. Hints of chocolate, with rose petals, and bay laurel, too, plus this lingering smooch of cherry bitters, and a soupçon of Tahitian vanilla…just EPIC y’all! We don’t have enough…at least of this particular wine (hint, hint.) 97 POINTS! 60+% OFF! Go, go, GOOOO!

** More Reynvaan to come? Possibly. Stay tuned, friends! **

"A left-bank Bordeaux blend that comprises 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 14% Petit Verdot and 8% Merlot, this Cabernet-dominant blend could be placed from the Washington Rocks area in a blind tasting fairly easily. It is terroir-driven, expressive on the nose, gorgeous on the palate and downright delicious. Let’s start with the nose - imagine aromas of black plum, wild black currant, unsweetened chocolate, espresso powder, sweet toasted cinnamon and just a touch of cedar bark. The palate shows a perfectly balanced combination of acid, fruit, alcohol and length and delivers flavors of fresh blackberry, saddle leather, a pinch of nutmeg, and a squeeze of orange oil. One of my favorite Cabernets to come out of Washington. A perfectly balanced and delicious Washington Cabernet dominant blend. Drinks beautifully now but will be even better in 2-3 years. Highly recommended." ~International Wine Report

"The 2018 The Classic is a rock star of a wine. Based on 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, and the rest Merlot, it’s medium to full-bodied and nicely concentrated, with a great mid-palate as well as silky tannins. Showing classic Cabernet notes of darker currants, leafy herbs, tobacco, cedar, and iron, it’s going to cruise for two decades in cold cellars. While this comes from the Rocks region of the Walla Walla Valley, it’s not too overtly funky or wild, and I love its purity." ~Jeb Dunnuck
