If I’m being honest…I was SHOCKED by how good this is. Color me CONVERTED, good people! This is LEGIT, blue-blooded, certified, Napa Valley Reserve Cab royalty — and it has arrived at a price that should be declared more unconstitutional than tariffs on wines.

Now — let’s talk about what you’re actually drinking here…89% Cabernet Sauvignon, built out with 3% Malbec, 3% Merlot, 3% Petite Sirah, and 1% Cabernet Franc — a murderers’ row of depth and complexity, sourced from Sterling’s network of volcanically-grown, utterly primo Napa sites. The result is pitch-black, deeply structural, and built for the ages. On the nose: violets and menthol, with rosemary, blackberries, and blueberries, and that gorgeous graphite and bay laurel earthiness that I went absolutely gaga for. Then the first sip hits — and WHAM. Voluptuous blackberry pie, complete with all the pie-crust trimmings: cinnamon, brown sugar, and a careful dash of pop-you-in-the-mouth mace. Red plums, more graphite, barely ripe Turkish figs, a hint of clove, and this incredible spiced complexity you just can’t stop going back to. The tannins are fine-grained and perfectly integrated, the finish is long and bright, and the whole thing drinks like it ought to cost three times what we’re charging. Age it for a decade if you’ve got the willpower — or crack one tonight over a pile of red wine braised short ribs and mashed potatoes. (Trust me on that pairing. Do NOT skip the mashed potatoes.)

Napa pedigree this deep, with a comeback story this electric — all for under TWENTY-FIVE BUCKS! We’re not going to have this forever…and honestly, we’re a little surprised we have it at all.
