The Tasty Wine Slushies You Need to Make This Summer

|
Rose wine slushies

It's a steamy 90+ degrees here in Napa today which isn't ideal for enjoying a big glass of Cabernet. Normally a dry rosé or crisp white wine is our thing during a heatwave, but not today! We keep an open mind about interesting food and drink concoctions. So when we learned about the concept of the wine slushie you better believe we broke out the blender, grabbed the rest of the Ygrec and some fruit, then went to town making enough to share around the office. Moments later everyone was sliding their Ray-Bans on, propping their flip flops up on desks, and bobbing to Jimmy Buffet's "Boat Drinks". Now that we're back on dry ground, please indulge in some of the tastiest wine slushie recipes we found.

Strawberry Peach Wine Slushie

Probably one of the best looking concoctions in the list, and the most likely to induce jealousy in your underage children. slushie1

No need to wait for hours while your fruit and wine infuse together. Just hit the pulse button a few times and you're good to go.  Via Baking a Moment

Peach & Honey Sangria Smoothie

The ultimate warm weather version of Sangria. They use a Riesling in the recipe, but a vibrant Torrontes or zesty Pinot Grigio might make an ideal substitute. peach-sangria-6a-wm Via Snappy Gourmet

Triple Berry Wine Slush

The recipe calls for a sweet red table wine, but may we suggest a sparkling Lambrusco instead?

Blueberry Cream Slushie

Frozen blueberries, sweet vanilla ice cream, and a dry Sauvignon Blanc join forces for a tasty spin on the creamsicle. Via Hungry Couple NYC

Pinot Noir Slushie

No fruit? No problem! Just freeze and blend your favorite bottle for this straight up, adulterant-free slushie. Via Tasty Ever After

Moscato Peach Slushies

The recipe calls for Moscato but we'd try an off-dry Riesling, or even a Gruner for some added zippiness. IMG_6720 Via Divas Can Cook

Homemade Wine Slush Mix

You could buy some "vino slush", but why not make your own? It's dead simple. Via Celebration Generation

Raspberry Wine Slushie with Whipped Chocolate Cream

Is it a refreshing cocktail? Decadent dessert? Or maybe both. Talk about a next-level slushie!
